Haha! Wasn’t gonna say it but...
? I’ve never actually researched it.
Was it injured? Can you look at it and see any variation in the skin that might indicate a passing thought of a limb bud?

It was fatally injured by the cat that brought it into the house. I was quite upset with her about that.
They look like snakes; there aren’t any noticeable limbs/limb buds.
