Last year I was honored with a visit from a beautiful garden spider! She set herself up at the drain pipe at first, but then moved to display herself on my front porch. She was beautiful!
A couple days later she was gone. I suspect she was the victim of my troglodyte neighbors, but there is no way to be sure. I was heartbroken for a week.
