And when my newedest addition to the family decides he wants me to get up in the morning, he stomps around on my bladder. Jeez. At least he’s learned in anatomy.
Uh, yeah, I’ve had that happen, too.
Years ago, we had a dear old cat who would come sit right by my head and purr loudly. When I didn’t respond, he would tap my face with his paw — claws out just enough to make his point without leaving a mark. Too damn smart!
I have a bad startle response when I wake up, so the cat would learn to just jump on the bed next to me , then fly off the bed before I could react, if I tried to go back to sleep, he repeated the process until I got up. He and the dog would make a bee line for the door,
I have to tell you, my heart cat was the one in the first picture. She would sleep with me just like that, and if I rolled over I'd just scoop her up and take her with me and neither one of us would wake up for more than 3 seconds. My current girls, not so much. They're not sure about this full body contact yet.
Helping you keep your eyes closed so you think you are in the dark. Great caring kitty.
Yep. Sometimes a paw in the mouth too.
or use your back for a scratching post knowing they can jump before you can react.
