Apparently things like this happen on open safari vehicles now and then?
My BIL got bitten by an ostrich while on one.
Whenever you ask him about it he swears a blue streak to this day - it was his elbow. I guess he had a heck of bruise. (Ostrich or Emu? One of those!).
