We have bird feeders in the front yard, which attracts birds (and squirrels) but also it attracts cats from around the neighborhood. We also have a couple of chairs in front of a picture window which we call "The Cat Channel."
For the bird fanciers, we have raised the bird feeders higher so the cats can't get to them all that easily.

We've tried to take p[hotos, and the cats simply do't cooperate. They will walk behind a bush or hide just on the other side of the porch railing. It is as if they are camera shy and do it purposefully.
I put the bird feeder in front of the bay window that Mattie likes to sit in and I think of it as Kitty TV since she'll watch for hours.

I call it kitty TV too. Set up shelves at the big living room windows for kitties to watch the world. Only problem is the damn squirrels well jump up on the ledge outside the window to tease the cats!
You could host your very own nature show from the sounds of it.

It only gets really busy in the Spring or the Fall.
Our feeder is high up too, & our kitties watch them from inside.

Our cats also watch form inside too. But they also like to get outside into the action, especially if the neighbor cas are about.
