When I was a kid we had to give our old tomcat a bath, he got into something that he shouldn't have been licking off himself. He was a tough but sweet old guy. It still took 3 of us to give him a bath. One kid had the front feet, one the back feet, and one the body. He made lots of noise but never clawed any of us. Now I think back on that and I wonder what the hell dad was thinking to make us do that without supervision. Oy.

I thought it was terribly cruel... then i read it supposedly came from "Th eDog"...

Of course in the dog's mind it's just cleaning its water bowl from which is drinks.
