Anyone here antinatalist? Antinatalism is a philosophy that assigns negative value to birth. Antinatalists generally consider procreation to be immoral because of the harm that will be caused and experienced by the child without consent, including death.
Also, some antinatalists limit it to humans, while others include non-humans and are or support veganism rather than paying for sentient beings to be bred into existence.
We all have vocal cords, but not all of us can be opera singers. I despise the pressure put on people to breed. I personally feel I belong to this category, but would not recommend / push others into it. I see the world as a pile of shit. It is extraordinary user-unfriendly. any person who would want a child to be brought into this world is extremely questionable. breeding is necessary however, and theoretically is the only function of life. I think our society does a great disservice to all of its members to show Parenthood in a positive light.
Breeding isn't necessary, just like the human species continuing isn't necessary. Any problems it's supposed to fix (such as taking care of an ageing population) it also creates, and is only a band-aid solution and delay at best.
^This^ Especially when it comes to multiple children.
