Hi. I just joined the group and wanted to say hello. So glad there's a child-free space here! I'm happily child-free, although I work in public education as a school counselor, so I work with other people's kids. It's part of what convinced me I didn't want to be a parent, heh. I am a pet mommy, however, of two 18 year old senior black cats. They've both lost their hearing in the past 3 years, and my boy lost his sight last year. They also have some health issues that I take care of, so they keep me busy with extra care. They're my babies, though, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Their love is [mostly] unconditional. .... at least with mine their loyalty lies with whomever has the food.....
