I see his reasoning but the question is whether or not the powers that be will see it this way. I do think the courts will be busy and Trump and friends will not be able to put things off forever.

I don't agree with his reasoning here. We'll see who he pardons next and how that stands up in court.

I'm very skeptical of this reasoning and pretty sure the will courts will be too. He can't pardon anyone facing impeachment (other officials) but can pardon other crimes. This is specious because he has already been impeached and has unquestionably been issuing pardons deemed valid.
