This has probably been said but Ken Burns' Vietnam series was eye opening and for me deeply moving. Gets both sides of the conflict, perspectives of troops in the field and political situation on the home front. Just amazing. I highly recommend ...

I watched a very interesting documentary, about a year ago. I highly recomend it, The Lovings. It's about an interracial couple, that were married over ago. I think tat they made a film based on the documentary.
