I am a 63-year-old Vegan. I have worked out for years. I never worry how much I weigh, how fast I run, how much weight I live, how thin my waist is, how fast I run, my weight or how big my muscles are.
Instead, I only focus on being consistent. All I can really control is to answer the question "Did I work out today?" If I did I can feel good about my self. The results keep me feeling young and healthy.
For years I worked out every day. Sadly, I went through a hospitalization, and got out of the habit and need to get back into my daily habit. I know I will, it keeps me happy and healthy.
Keep it up! I'm a fellow veg head, been 8 years now.
Good for you. Consistency is key.
Interesting, I too am 63, workout regularly in a CrossFit-like gym, but eat a largely carnivorous, high fat, very low (almost no) carbohydrate diet.
