Running—-my recreational drug of choice.
Let’s party ?
It's definitely a good thing to be active. However, running is a high impact activity. I would replace it with swimming or HIIT. Yet again, this is up to you and doing whatever activity you enjoy is better than sitting down. Stay fit.
I’m 60 and just finished a 10k in 58 minutes with no problems. I think joints will fortify (if exercise is done properly) along with the activity. I find it amazing that there are 70yos and older running marathons these days. Thanks
@Jrou wow, I can't do half of that and I'm considered to be fit. I guess practice make perfect. Btw, there is a tribe in central America where everyone runs. Old young, male female. And they run for very very long distance in a day or two. However, running for nonconditioned is definitely harmful. Running is not inherently flowed but we, as modren stationary people, are not ready for it. Glad to see you fit at your age sir. Keep on running old guy.

Posted by Aeonia25850I hate to say it, but this does happen. Especially around new years!
Posted by Aeonia25850Just for a laugh! Right now I'm pushing these legs of mine hard with the weights and on the bike and am seeing good results.
Posted by StevilFriday, I ran in the Bobcat Boogie color run, on the Cleveland Greenway.
Posted by StevilThe Friday before St Patrick's day I ran in the Irish Soles 5k.
Posted by tinebeanOver St Patrick's day weekend I participated in my first pickleball tournament & took 3rd place! All that practice was fun, an excellent cardio workout and won me a little bronze medal! ? Woo hoo!

Posted by SilviaParkI had my first triathlon in Sunday, an indoor USATri60. Lots of room for improvement, but I'm just a beginner swimmer, and haven't taken my bike on the road yet :)
