Hey guys. I’ve had a kidney transplant and I’ve noticed a lot of the ingredients in normal pre-workouts can be harsh on the kidneys, either directly like creatine, or indirectly like caffeine through dehydration. So I’ve created my own with some healthier ingredients. It sounds disgusting, but it’s not bad. I kinda like it but I drink it all the time.

0.5 tsp Beta Alanine - keeps lactic acid from building up in the muscles while and after working out. Reduces muscle fatigue and lowers recovery time. Also makes you feel tingly, which I personally like.
1.5 tbsp (or whatever scoop it usually comes with) of collagen hydrolysate - supposedly good for joint support, as it’s what our ligaments are made of. Also good for hair and skin.
0.25 tsp MSM - also good for joints. Anti-inflammatory and reduces stress to muscles to help recovery.
0.25 tsp Magnesium Glycinate - boosts testosterone.

Then I also throw in:
1 tbsp of some kind of super-greens powder
0.5 tbsp of red beet powder
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

I put it all in a shaker bottle and fill it up to 12oz with water.

I also tried throwing in BCAA’s, but that shit is disgusting in unflavored powder form.

The normal kind is probably fine for anyone without kidney issues, but I still think mine is a healthier drink overall.

I get most of my ingredients from bulk supplements on amazon. I prefer getting pure, unflavored ingredients as I can then add to them.

i've been stage 4 kidney failure for over 4 years now. I'm a little scared. May have to go on dialysis.

Any chance of transplant?

@Flexymorals I'm going on a waiting list soon.....I"m at 20 percent, but feel great. My brother might give me one.....don't know what is gonna happen.....kidney's are strange magical things like everything in the body. But like I said, I feel great at the moment....thanks for asking.....I like this website a lot...I don' t have to any of that Jesus Christ bullshit....

@FlyingEagle1952 I have friends and family who just can’t believe my experience didn’t make me a believer. Doesn’t make any sense to me. I spent four months in the hospital in excruciating pain. Why would anyone believe our bodies were “intelligently designed”?

@Flexymorals been there, done it. They operated on the same disc in my back 4 times. I couldn't even sit up.....it was bad. I felt nothing from "spirit" either.....I was ready to go, no more nursing homes for me.....it sucked, big time. When my mother died in 94, they wanted to cut her legs off......sooooo the ending isn't nice. Thank God she died and didn't have to go thru. the bullshit. She rotted away from RA. After all the bullshit she went thru raising 4 boys by herself, it wasn't fair....that's for sure. It was one fucked up ending for a great MOM. But here is what the question is. Does consciousness go on after the physical body dies? Can you be conscious OUTSIDE of your body? If you believe we just die and that's it, then that is what you believe. If here is nothing after death, then there is no real purpose to life......just be an asshole, kill people, rapa women.....be a child molester......who cares? right? Personally, I believe it is important to be a good person. what goes around comes around. And my life and the world is a better place because of that. The Universe keeps moving, there has to be a reason for our existence. When you look at Trump, the world seems to be n chaos at the moment. But my mother was an awesome soul.

Lol that’s fine. Pre-workouts just help get the most out of exercising. The beta alanine and the MSM especially help you go longer without the muscle pain and keep you from getting muscle cramps.
