I bought a weight vest over the weekend and have been using it in my exercise routine. It's awesome. Should have done this long ago. To all the backpackers here I have a new admiration for you.
Hey, that's a good idea... I might get one for my morning run... How much weight does it hold?
The one that I have holds up to 40lbs they have smaller ones that hold up to 20lbs. Give it a try. For running I would recommend light weight.
@Unity OK, thanks
50# regimen for mt.Rainier trainees...
I used to wear ankles weights when I walked...gave me an idea of how much six pounds lost felt when. I took them off...good for you...let us know how you improve your fitness

Posted by Aeonia25850Just for a laugh! Right now I'm pushing these legs of mine hard with the weights and on the bike and am seeing good results.
