Tomorrow I'll go for 75 flights of stairs and I'll keep increasing the number each time I go to the gym. No one wants to do the incline with me. It's a huge, steep staircase up the side of a mountain. You take the trail to go back down. You aren't supposed to go down the stairs. It is too dangerous. My only issue is I'm afraid of heights. Everyone else I ask to go, they don't want to go with me. They think doing 2 flights of stairs is too much. Oh well. I'll have fun tomorrow at the gym.
I'm getting used to all the stares from the men at the gym while I'm walking around in my spandex shorts. I figured it would be practice for me in case I decide to wear them home or in public. I did try and go home on the bus with them on 3x, and walked home the rest of the way. I feel proud of my legs and glutes that I worked on for 8 months straight. Someone told me, "People like what they see."
I live in Pittsburgh and they have some great hills and stairs here that join neighborhoods. Due to a torn meniscus running on flat ground is painful less so going up hills. Hill or stair running is the best cardio in my opinion.
Awe. I'm sorry to hear that.
COnsider less volume and more intensity. HIIT, lift heavy things. Excessive cardio is not good for you. And you need strength.
Okay.
That's awesome, it's great when others start noticing the results too!
I get a lot of stares out in public just in jeans and a T-shirt.
@Sarahroo29 awesome, such a rewarding feeling. Though, admittedly, my shyness makes it weird for me sometimes lmao.
@livetodiscover I'm still not used to it. I used to be fat and ugly. I've changed in 8 months.

Posted by SilviaParkI had my first triathlon in Sunday, an indoor USATri60. Lots of room for improvement, but I'm just a beginner swimmer, and haven't taken my bike on the road yet :)
