I have come up with a rather robust strength training routine. Here's hoping i can do it!
Best of luck! Would love to hear updates!
Show us the routine!! What is it!?
Haha! It's like a patchwork quilt probably, because i have no clue about any of it! I'm learning, and have chosen exercises with Google's help.
@JonnaBononna List some!
Go for it!
What do you mean by robust, in this case?
Well, it's robust for me, someone completely uninitiated in such things! I really need a personal trainer because 1: I really don't know what I'm doing- (I've chosen exercise via Google lol), 2: it would help me to be sure I am in correct form, and 3: it would be motivating and I'd be held accountable. But, alas, fitness isn't really for poor people!
@JonnaBononna Well done for doing that yourself! You are right about it being expensive!
I look at many YouTube videos and read various articles to get exercises that may be beneficial for me. They also show correct form (or at least what I should be aiming for). Of course, there are several disagreements about exercises, but that just provides more information rather than putting me off - also, I am not at their experienced levels either.
If you are relatively new at this, take it easy initially until your body gets used to it. Better to think long-term rather than going in with gusto and shocking your body and mind (and then eventually quitting). I have made that mistake before. Start small and don't compare yourself to anyone else (another mistake I've made before). As you can tell, I've learned from making many mistakes! Lol.
Keep us updated on how it goes!

Posted by Aeonia25850I hate to say it, but this does happen. Especially around new years!
Posted by Aeonia25850Just for a laugh! Right now I'm pushing these legs of mine hard with the weights and on the bike and am seeing good results.

Posted by SilviaParkI had my first triathlon in Sunday, an indoor USATri60. Lots of room for improvement, but I'm just a beginner swimmer, and haven't taken my bike on the road yet :)
