Why So Irritated By Believers Comments?

IIsn't it just eaiser to ignore than to go into a tirade & get your balls in a uproar.

That’s Exactly why I joined this site, to find, listen and learn from a very very few Limitless thinkers. I search for those individuals who have the ability to push us beyond our own limiting beliefs. These Thinkers prove how camaraderie can be used as our safety net when we just don’t wanna explore any other perceptions then the ones we chose. One once said “ Limitless means, looking for the 111 other ways of looking at the picture.” They have the ability to address in ways that is not belittling, demeaning or defiant to anyone, even thou that’s what they receive for risking a different perspective. When you start looking for the limitless you start to understand the limited.

If america gets into a war with iran, because our christians believe that we are commanded by god to honor support and fight wars for israel, and it goes nuclear, you might do a rethink and advocate for a bit more angst as regards the delusional christian support for wars for israel.

I want to respond, but so very few want to listen to evidence. They would rather bask in their imaginations.

I'm don't get irritated by their comments.. I usually respond to them with humor... I have fun talking to them... If and when they respond...

There's love, hate, and indifference.

Those who go in to a tirade are in the "hate" stage...they either

  1. Have doubts about their own convictions, or
  2. Are exhausted with the constant proselytizing, or
  3. A little of both.

The "indifference" strategy is, to me, the best.

You ignore the shouters and proselytizers because you're convinced they're wrong, and you're right.

You feel sorry for them because they're so obviously brain-washed. You almost empathize with their naivité.

Don't hate.

Be indifferent.

Idon't understand why a response is even necessary

@alon That's what makes you not only "indifferent" but secure in your Agnosticism. You are a good, honest man....you're saying "I don't understand...because I simply "don't know" ...that makes you a true Agnostic. Congratulations!

The basis of X-tianity is love, hate and fear. Love Israel, Jews and Jesus. Hate the devil and Iran. Fear God and any atheist who might smite you with truth.
