It has developed into globalisation which is exacerbating the situation and making a few people very wealthy and making inequality worse.

@Jk1960 , after those revolutions & hardships the ppl were only temporarily better off then the elites once again regained power. it only took 2 generations after the french revolution.
mankind has a real problem. the smart elites will always win against the not very bright proletariat.
