You really don't want to know what I truly believe. Most people like a life that is pleasant and meaningful. I would tell it like it is and sparks would fly.
You are being presumptuous of how others think and feel, and in a group for freethinking.
The truth hurts. It is dangerous to be totally truthful. As a side note, I would be more inclined to believe in a Devil, but I could never believe in a God. Each and every day, countless billions of small creatures are devoured by bigger bully life forms. I could not have imagined a more perfect hell. Most people do not want to think that they live in a hell. What do you think about this???
@grbosworth I do not believe in either, heaven or hell, just the laws of nature and science discovers new ones all the time. Yes, there is not one living thing on our planet that does not owe it's life to something else, whether that things has to die for it to live or they are dependent on each other. When it comes to the grand scheme of things in the universe, we humans are no more important than any other living thing on this planet, except for one way, we can kill many of the earths life forms before we end up killing ourselves. The only thing I would call hell would be of our own making by war and greed.
You can’t know how anyone will react until you speak; unless that is, you deliberately set out to provoke or cause a reaction in others. There are certainly times that it may be appropriate to take this approach, but certainly not as a general conversation starter.
