where are you living that your plants look this good this early?
Tampa, Florida.
Wow, what fertilizer do you use? Those plants look great!!!
I use just regular 10-10-10 fertilizer. That is fertilizer that is 10 percent each nitrates, phosphates, and potassium. It also helps that I add a lot of organic matter (hay mulch, grass clippings, and plant debris) to the soil. r To keep powdery mildew and other fungi from attacking the squash, I spray the soil with fungicide before I dig it up for planting.
Also the soil here is prone to nematode infestations. Heavy nematode infestations badly damage plant roots and limit productivity and longevity, particularly tomatoes. Every year or two I also treat the soil to greatly reduce the nematode infestations.
You seem to have grown as well .
LOL!
I thought the opposite but then realised that it was merely the grown and larger leaves now covering his shorts.
