Heard some years back that , among all the treasures , they also found seeds inside the pyramids of ancient Egypt , they also found preserved seeds , which , when planted did product vegetables .

very cool post thanx.They are hardier than we think.Have had lots of luck with older seeds.I have sunflowers up to 7 ft tall right now from seeds that are almost 8 years old !Thanx again

I found a sack of wildflower seeds from 20 years ago...decided to spread them out in a meadow out back...hardy buggers...I got all sorts of cutting flowers and left many to go to seed for next year...

Thanks for posting...I had no idea seeds had such long shelf lives...
