Hadn't seen this idea before! Cartons are not as bad as plastic bottles but still a huge problem for landfills.

Seems like a great idea. When you're finished, just cut off the cap and compost.

While it's good to recycle and get a second use out of these , in the end , they'll still wind up in the landfill . Only comment on here . and I still didn't get double points .

I have only just realised the advantage of polystyrene boxes now that they are going out of use. They make great water reservoirs to put pots in to have a week's watering taken care off.
I was going to make wicking boxes to grow in but never got round to it!
