Agreed. Some decisions can be decided in advance. Others require input from a partner.

I am on the receiving end of my partner making unilateral decisions that directly affects our time together as in reduces it dramatically. She will justify it with the usual stuff, got bills to pay a house to run a family to look after...as if I am in no position to help. So i get hit by surprise, "so i won't see you for a week or two?"

When I call her out on it she gets upset and it really upsets me too that when it comes down to it I am irrelevant in her grand scheme of things and that she wants to be both in a relationship and yet independent too.

I haven't been able to articulate it properly yet so this will help a lot. Might end up being single again but I am getting tired of being the outsider.
