So how comfortable are you discussing Fantasies with your partners? Does it come easy? Are they receptive to hearing and sharing too?

My ex is so cold. If ever I talked about sex at all it was like I was cutting her fucking leg off. What a bitch and I stayed for 34 years. What a fucking idiot I was.

Your poll is skewed to those in a relationship.

Yes probably but it can go either way. I have discussed sex on the first or second date.

I think the whole ability to be able to share fantasies is very important to a relationship.. doesn't mean your or them have to be into it.. but you should at least trust each other enough to be able to discuss..
Goes into the whole loving the other person for who they are..

I like to share fantasies.. in my failed marriage i think our inability to talk about our needs and wants was a major contribution to us fading away. We tried a little bit, but if i said something to deviant it was 'full stop' and "your a pervert".. it actually took me awhile to find out i was not a major deviant and that there are a LOT of people just like me and to get my confidence back.
Knowing what i know now.. the time i wasted!

I suggest something, he's usually all for it... On the other hand, he suggests somethings I'm not into... We are both fine with it and laugh about it 😉

That is nice. You cannot try all your fantasies. But some are fun to put into reality

Open and honest communication. If I am not comfortable enough to share my fantasies with the person I choose to live my life with, then I have chosen the wrong person.

If you are not comfortable talking about it you should not be in that relationship.

Well said - I think the reality from what I see and what people tell me is a little different.

@AlexRam yes it probably is. People have hang ups about things.

@GreatNani one of my good friends tells me his wife shuts him down when he wants to discuss fantasies. I think they are more common than we think. To us freethinkers it may seem weird

My comfort level seems to match that of my partner. Generally it takes some time to reach a level of trust where I can be completely comfortable with these kinds of discussions.
