I have just passed the 2 year anniversary of the death of my beautiful man from brain cancer. I'm so angry about it all. And so sad. He was a good man, who always only wanted the best for me and those he loved. Life is not fair. I am more of an animal person thhan a people person Jay was my one off. He showed me that people can be good. I'm just very sad today.

Of course I am always reminded how much I loved the other person. However, it should and will not stop me from loving another!

I'm not planning on wearing black and covering up with a veil for the rest of my life , but My Jay was a pretty special person and it hasn"t been very long since he died. I'm sure when I'm 'ready', if there is someone else for me then we will meet.

@Jandii We reminded people that we don't live in India where the wife is supposed to throw herself on the funeral pyre or in Greece where the women weak black (and sometimes kidnap the eldest son). Were I to die first she would have a period of mourning but then seek another (living in a rural area pragmatics come into play). She would have guys lined down the block but she would be very very choosy. In the meantime it would have been - do some chore and I will cook you a meal.
