It's been a wobbly few weeks on the run up to a double anniversary of Jock's birthday on the 27th and his death on the 1st December, I'm holding up better than last year though....so far.
Got to just keep on keeping on! No other plan than getting on with life is possible Iām afraid. All I can say in all truth is that it does get easier in my experience. Tomorrow it will be 8 years since I lost Peter, but I will only think happy thoughts and remember all the good times we had.
@Marionville I've had a better year and it's only the 2nd anniversary I've been able to think happier thoughts and smile with memories so I'm pushing on with life.
@psycheworks Good to hear that.
@Marionville how are you doing today?
@psycheworks. Iām good, with good friends in abundance thankfully. Iām out tonight with friends and tomorrow I have a trip away to meet up with another one. Thanks for asking.,
Coming up on 5 months since I lost my darling man. It is so hard at times to even function. I hope you have loving people close by.
@Redheadedgammy Those first few months are so hard, it does get better. I've a good counselor and a good friend to talk to which is more than some folks so I'm very grateful
My husband was born November 27 as well, died a year ago November 2. These first anniversaries are rough! Big hugs to you.
And to you too. My husbandās 8th anniversary is tomorrow.
@Untamedshrew Thank you, what's your husbands name? I'll put a thought out for Jocks birthday twin on their birthday
@Marionville sending you a huge hug
@psycheworks Hugs back...?
