Hey folks, I hope everyone has something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. My Kim really liked it, so I'm just hoping I can enjoy the time with my daughter in DC. It seems like our new tradition is the binge watch comedy crap of Netflix with beer and hard cider. It works. Somehow the decompression in front on the tube is a perfect time. What about you?
When my loss was new (30 Oct, 2006), I felt anything BUT thankful in Nov... For a few years, we escaped to a beach rental. They are rather inexpensive and uncrowded that time of year.
After a few years, we started missing the turkey. We eventually got back to celebrating. I've got everything lined up for a tasty spread this year.
Come what may, I hope that you and your daughter enjoy your time together.
I wish you all the best for Thanksgiving....we donβt celebrate the fact that you guys left us to start your own colony! Have fun, enjoy the holiday with your daughter.
