Grief never leaves us. It shrinks from a great, consuming, pit, to something smaller, more manageable over time. A scar remains. But grief never leaves us. Author Unknown

So very true! ?

That special loss can never be healed. The sorrow will always be there but, somehow, over the years, we get stronger.

I am very aware of that as several family members have died over the last four years

Very depressing thought....could be expressed in a more positive and uplifting manner. I can’t deal with downbeat messages of grief and scars at the moment.

I can't deal with positive and uplifting. When I can I guess I'll be halfway there.

@Doraz Thank you....I know you are finding it hard too. ?

@Doraz, @freeofgod I hope you feel more uplifted in the future. I just lost my son a few weeks ago, and the only thing I need at the moment is to think happy thoughts, otherwise I will fall into introspection, and gloom.
