Yesterday was my birthday. AND
Out of the blue I had a crying upset over nothing and everything day.
What a damn baby.
You see I love my birthday.... not gifts per se but the attention.... cards and talking to my loved ones. Always have been that way.
Started out waking up and thinking of all the how my Doug made me feel special everyday but esp on my bday. And was off and on crying all day
I tried to not show it to everyone but the ones closest to me. Sorry Cousin
At least I can admit it here and today Iām back to my new normal.
SIGH
I get it. I lose it sometimes over what would look like to others as such an insignificant thing, but meant so much to Dawn and I.
Understandable that you felt like that yesterday.....! Hope you feel better today. Donāt be too hard on yourself, we are not machines and cannot programme ourselves to be strong in the face of these special days of significance, when we particularly miss our partners. Reward yourself with something nice today....pampering can be done by you, and for you! No need to miss out ....just tell yourself Doug would approve.
I understand. There was no one else who could make me feel more special on my birthday than my Richard. When someone loves you like that it is a huge loss in your life when they are gone. Sending hugs your way.

Posted by KymmacgOne of the biggest issues for me, now, even 18 years later, is the loss of life.
Posted by alonI had a nice Bacon/Cheese Omelette for my Sunday Breakfast this morning instead of my usual Eggs Benedict.
