HIMEKAMI - PRAYER OF THE 1000 YEARS . A really wonderful and touching video from China, having Japanese music performed by famous Group 'HIMEKAMI'...not to be missed! @Lauren ...
@Merseyman1, apologies, I don't know how I missed this the first time, but I love it! Gorgeous visuals, too. The version I had looked at seemed like it was from a video game.
Thank you for your comment, Lauren, I love that you liked it! This one you posted is certainly with visuals from a video game...
@Merseyman1 I love video game art (Yoshitaka Amano is my favorite artist), but yours is much prettier!
@Lauren, I love all kind of Arts, and indeed Video Game Art is actually amazing, Yoshitaka is one of the best!
@Merseyman1 I think so, too! I started reading the Vampire Hunter D series when I was younger and fell in love with his art - so sensuous and fluid.
Japanese band, but looks more like Cambodian or Vietnamese dancers,
After a thorough search I found out that the images are segments of a 6 minute Chinese video performing Chinese dancers (probably goddesses or spirits) and a young man praying in the desert. It was filmed in the border of the city of Dunhuang with the Gobi desert. The video was uploaded by a Vietnamese Youtube user using segments of the video from the site "bilibili video" with music from Himekami, which was not the original music.
@Merseyman1 Thanks for going to all that bother to find out.
@Marionville You're welcome! No bother, I really enjoy doing this getting immersed in different cultures, music, visuals, after all I have plenty of time now!
