@rogerbenham Only listened to it a few times over the years....and I never have listened to a diet consisting entirely of somber music. Most of Garf’s posts are pretty depressing and gloomy....hence my question to him.
@Marionville That got me laughing. How about Purcell's funeral music?
But I do have to agree with you. I like celebration music probably most of all and really dislike heavy metal and rap.
@rogerbenham I’m not into rap and heavy metal myself....to that you can add most American country music!
@Marionville A lot of American Country music is related to Celtic music. It's just that the Americans have a tendency to ruin things.
Garf:
I do listen to other stuff, and in a way I like music that sings about pain and loss, I find I can draw strength from it, and it reminds me that there are others in the same boat, or similar situation.
But that's just me
