I’m not a big country music fan, but there is no denying it does have a big following, especially here in Ireland and we have quite a few very good homegrown singers and songwriters in the country genre…one of the most popular is Foy Vance and here he is with his own composition - Guiding Light, performing it live at The Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival in 2015…

@Marionville Yes, it's huge, but it still is not my type.
Well I don't think I'd call this country music. It is close to folk music. But is lovely to see such a happy audience. Is it in a big pub?

It’s in a music venue…it’s probably a cross between country & folk…but I think the following he has is mainly from country music fans.
I didn't realize that "country" music was so popular in Ireland. I've never been a fan, but do like some country singers. The crowd seems to enjoy this song, even singing along.
