Yes…I really like it.
The first violinist looks very familiar. Nice enough until the piano got way too angry. Too modern for me, so aggressive. The gentle bits were OK but the anger kept on expressing. I cannot imagine wanting to go to a concert of this. Why so angry when at times so contemplative? For me the best bit were the last 3 or 4 chords!

I think the contrast is probably the whole point of the piece…it’s his own composition. I liked the way it changed from calm to frenetic…and back again. The musicians seemed to enjoy playing which I suppose is always a good sign…
