I love listening to him play. I follow his Facebook page and particularly during Covid isolation he would post little videos of himself playing in gardens and outdoor spaces in addition to the ones from his home, and they were such sweet little moments.

I wonder what broke all those birch trees. An odd place to choose to play his cello, though obviously recorded in a studio. The only place I have seen birches like that was in a pond.
Yo-Yo Ma and Bach are a hard to beat combination.

I don’t know how the trees got broken …but the narrative said that it was to be at one with nature …as music and its connectivity to nature and to us is all encompassing.

@Marionville I have three ponds on my land and they are all very close to being dry and grass is growing on them. He could be playing in a drained swamp.. In the rockies I had about 25 Beaver Ponds and there were birches like that in them.
