Luciano Pavarotti was one of the top operatic tenors of the past century, renowned for portraying most of the leading parts in operas by Puccini, Verdi, Bellini etc.in opera houses throughout the world. He was also a recording artist who recorded the popular music and folk songs of his native Italy..this one for instance. -

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.He was my husband's favorite singer and he'd often have him playing while he worked (which was pleasantly often for the one, and too often for the other). He had a terrific tenor voice himself and would often sing along. Thank you for the sweet memories this brings back, particularly at this time of year.
