Had to look her up. She's Sami. Couldn't figure out what language that was.
@baloocleo Through and through. I couldn't see the really telling tracks on Youtube where she laments her people being kept as tourist attractions in the traditional costumes but denied their language and subjected to all the other conflict arising from colonialism.
@baloocleo Gula Gula, the full album, and the translations of the lyrics are worth hearing and listening to.
