They throw the term millenia around a lot, but a thousand years is pretty small for what they're trying to describe. There's no time saved saying something happens about every two hundred thousand years vs it happens about every two hundred millenia. Eon won't work, because a billion years is too big.

Easier to just say it happens three to five times per megaannum. Or at least more fun, because you get to use that word.

The poles are to shift. That is factual.

is anybody denying that? poles have flipped several hundred thousand years ago. It does not happen overnight like a disaster movie, it will probably take several hundreds or thousand years to happen.

@Lukian are we talking magnetic or rotational poles? I’m assuming magnetic, because the rotational poles are kind of hard to shift...

@Denker magnetic. There are plenty of recent articles talking about the North pole migrating from Canada to Russia. Santa Claus will get confused. He's no young you know.

@Denker magnetic, and the have moved from their original axis. Suppose to have happened around 700,000 years ago. i don't know I just know scientists believe they will shift and it has started..
