Space-loving friends: I've been trying to contain my excitement but I'm going to burst if I don't geek out publicly (among friends). Serendipitously, I happen to be in Orlando, FL at the moment and there's a SpaceX launch re-scheduled for tomorrow 5/10. Falcon 9 Block 5 is the final version of the engineering marvel - reusable rocket. This one intended to be reused numerous times.

Will you also be watching the launch?
So glad you got to see the launch! Such a powerful experience! I've been invited to attend the launch of Parker Solar Probe in July but, alas, I will be out of the country. My last launch was at Wallops Island for LRO. It was a night launch which made it e en more dramatic. So, what's your next launch going to be??
Did you get to see the launch?
Yep. My previous comment has two pics. Was a great surprise on my trip!
Success: launch and landing on “Of Course I still Love You”
Loud roar, heart still racing. THAT was fun!
Awesome!!!!
I'll be steaming the launch. I am still in awe that the first stage can return safety!
That is SO cool, right!
Oh, how nice for you!!! Very exiting. I watched a space shuttle launch from Orlando, and was at the launch site for another, but it got scrapped last minute for weather. I was so disappointed.
Jealous AND that would be a great disappointment for me too. I grew up during space shuttle era. The Challenger disaster was an important influence in my early life. Saw my first space shuttle in person just a few months ago.

Posted by starwatcher-alI missed the early phases of the eclipse but the clouds mostly left during totality. All in all a great eclipse. Next one is Nov. 8-22
