I do too. For me, the many wonders of the universe are, in a sense, my religion. Some of the most peaceful, introspective, grateful, awe inspiring times I have ever spent, have been spent lying on a sleeping bag in a field, looking up at the night sky. As the night revolves around me, new constellations rising, others setting, I often say a silent greeting to these old friends who follow me through the seasons and the years. I feel at peace peppered with moments of absolute awe. There are always a few satellites and a few meteors that break the silent vigil. I love when that happens. In these moments, I can let go of my world of action items, deadlines, and concerns and just be one with it all. The clockwork movement of the heavens is somehow reassuring and I often smile at the grandeur of what I am so privileged to be seeing. I love the night sky and, I think, it loves me.
when I get enough $, I will purchase time lapse equipment and make the earth move on a stable sky.
