Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.That is exactly why I'm an atheist. A preacher's son, I know a lot about it. The Bible just cannot sustain itself. You have to be partially insane or willfully ignorant of its contents to swallow them (I know, false dilemma). I have a two-brain theory about Christians.

@rovingamber Short version: Christians have 2 brains, a M-Sat brain and a Sun. brain. The "normal" brain will howl with derision if someone told them that someone came back from the dead or that their daughter got pregnant by a ghost. On Sunday, however, the other, "defective" brain engages and Christians believe without question things like Matthew 27:51-53 (the greatest Whopper in the Bible).
Do unto others as you would do to yourself. Confuscious. At least 1000 years before Christ was born.

The more you study the "Bible", and it's history of origins and exclusions.....the more I understand, A) It was put together for political reasons and books were excluded for political reasons. Much is oral history and myth.
