I chatted with an Egyptian atheist on FB. I have compassion for him. He does not dare come out of the atheist closet. His best friend came out atheist - told his relatives, friends and colleagues that he is atheist, and put his atheist views on FB. A group of bullies went to his house, kicked in the door, dragged him outside and beat him to death ... and here I think we got it bad in USA. We got our problems, but nothing quite like that, at least not very often.
