I recall being dragged in to the Bishops office and told my hair was far to long for a Mormon stake missionary, all the time being glowered at by the Mormon Jesus picture on the wall behind him

You got raised Mormon?? Oooh, god, I thought I had it bad. I was raised in a rigid Lutheran environment and I thought that was awful .... and it was .... but I have heard Mormon stories that curl my hair. The worst horror stories were of little kids being interrogated by Mormon authorities about issues of "purity" and sexuality, horribly invasive questions.
@SKH78 And the gall of the leaders of the Mormon Church excommunicating members who protest such practices! Deplorable.
I believe there was a Jesus only he was no more than an evangelist preacher. He formed a cult that exist today much larger. Being from the Middle East he was dark skinned and spoke only in his language. He did not speak English. He definitely did not look as they think he did. Where did they get his description?
