My hopes are that all religions start paying taxes!

That would be a good start - especially all the preachers who own huge mansions, private jets and lecture poor people to "just work harder" and "god sends poverty to bad people." I just can't understand how people turn over their hard earned money to these evil scammers.

@SKH78 the Vatican owns so much gold, treasures, real estate and wealth that if they decide to use only 25% of their money, poverty in all the world could be erradicated and wiped out of this planet. All religions exist inherently to exploit the easily manipulated followers.

I had a discussion with someone the other day. I referred to children's religious 'programming.' She corrected me and said they're 'taught.' Later I was thinking about that. Most of teaching isn't rote memorization, most teaching is about reasoning, and facts. Teaching religion to children doesn't teach either reasoning or facts. It's programming. My hope is that more people realize this.
