LINK 'Not bread': Worrying court decision about Subway sandwiches

No more Subway for me.

You know, I don't eat junk food, not since I was young and stupid. But, I figured the occasional Subway would be okay, if filled with healthy stuff. Now we know it's not even technically bread!

Why oh why can't they just have healthy bread, for frig's sake? I confess, I was always suspicious of their bread. Just too sweet.

End of rant for today.

Subway, Maccas, Hungry Jacks, imo, what they choose to call 'bread' to me tastes more like re-constituted cardboard and their 'fillings' are just as bland and tasteless.
The very best hamburgers, etc, are either home-made ones or those from a genuine Fish and Chips shop imo.

I can not even stand the smell going past one of those stores. Does not surprise me they are full of sugar. It is what drags people back, we prefer sweet tasting foods.

Sugar addicton is as bad if not worse than nicotine addiction.

As I've never had Subway I've never been suckered. I have however recently noticed a proliferation of brioche in Woolworths.
