It is well into the 21st century, and Australia is still trying to ram its Eurocentric rules onto anybody and everybody. [abc.net.au]
I kinda support the school in this, support their right to set dress codes. They were not suspended, but informed the dress code requires that their hair be tied up. "But it hurts" seems a bit whinny to me, like those refusing to wear masks.
You would think this would have been checked out by the parents before enrolling the girls.
Also, obviously a private school as public ones wouldn't give a shit.
Australian culture is that private schools may set dress codes. Not asking the girls to cut their hair. Bit of a leftie hand wringing non-story imo.
