Election coming up shortly then. I have a dilemma. Won’t vote Coalition, can’t vote Shorten (trust him less than Morrison). Greens whinge too much! Has anyone got a pitch for someone else that’s not Palmer!
It doesn't matter who you vote for, a politician always gets in. Sadly this is more the case in Australia, we have such a problem of career politicians. Those who can - do, those who can't -teach those who don't give a crap about anyone else go into politics. That said, I have been pushing Sustainable Australia, their policies are mostly ok, anti immigration which makes sense, ie 200,000 migrants a year is an extra million every 5 years, can you find a car park?
Why don't you trust Labor and Bill Shorten? Labour is what the UK party is called so we changed ours quite a while ago despite speaking UK English.
Let us face it:
• vote Labour and be controlled by Labour monied backers and the ACTU.
• vote Liberal/ National and be controlled by their monied backers and Britain/ Uncl Sam
• Vote Green be controlled by well meaning people without the knowledge and abilities to stop everything falling apart
• vote for anyone else and be governed by their monied backers, self interest and probable corruption.
• Refuse to vote and when fined go to court on the basis that you were not allowed to vote as conscience dictated because there was no box available to say that none of the presenting candidates were fit to represent you. Therefore the whole election be declared undemocratic and null and void?
