Unfortunately I can tell you from harsh experience in a Federal Appeal Court - three judges on the bench back in about 1993 "I'm sorry Mr Bear, the government has not written and signed these International Treaties into Federal Law so we cannot take them into consideration" . I was unrepresented because the Labour Party stole all of the funding for lawyers to pay for their Party Chair person Dr Carmen Lawrence's $millions fees so she could fight her murder charge in WA. I had asked the appeal bench to recognise the international treaty that it had signed in 1992. The court had not heard of it. I did not take it to the High Court because not only was I not represented but did not see advantage to myself - quite the contrary. I still have the option of Geneva if I am ever well enough.

Whrn I quoted the councils bye law to the contrary the cunt told "well if you don't like my decision complain to me again". An acquaintance ckmplained of a neighbour producing tear gas from a by product of making bio diesel. She was classex as a queralent and her file marked "do not bother to action her letters". The CEO who wrote that was then promoted to CEO of a large Victorian city. I had 3 local magistrates refuse to look at evidence of police perjury but they still refused to accept that their judgement of a restraining order was made on the basis of perjured police evidence which I had court and photograpic evidence of.

@Triphid In 1996 I appeared before a Senate hearing into the "Administrative Decisions (Effect of International Instruments) Bill 1995 brought on by Evans and Downer to have it codified that if Australia did not incorporate such Instruments into Australian law then they did not apply in Australia.
