Interesting - Tennis Australia respond following John McEnroe and Martina Navratilova’s on-court protest :
If they have rules and they are enforced for everyone that is fine. Court said what she did outside of tennis. Anyone is free to protest outside of tennis but I get where they are coming from.
@FrayedBear If she says things while at a tennis function or representing tennis absolutely not she should face consequences for that. If she is speaking as the cult leader of her cult or a citizen then she is subject to the discrimination laws and those that want to challenge her in court. In the same way at Martina and John are free to criticise and lambast her in public. They are free to say up to the laws of discriminaton. Should the religous bigotry document become law then court is allowed to say what she wants and the rest of us can not. That is one reason to shoot the religious bigotry bill down.
Didnt you know that they are not responsible to the citizens only tbeir dog!
