🔥No Peace for Pell !🔥
I've posted this simple response to any posts encountered on FB, on the topic. 6 times, perhaps.
I received a PM threat that the police would be contacting me if I persisted in harassing Cardinal Pell. (The sender had pre-blocked me from his profile.) Any advice?

And what exactly is the police going to do to you? Australia has freedom of speech. You didn’t post anything to him directly. I repost things about him and the church all the time. Don’t worry.

"In addition, under article 19(3) freedom of expression may be limited as provided for by law and when necessary to protect the rights or reputations of others, national security, public order, or public health or morals."
"The Criminal Code also contains offences relating to the use of a telecommunications carriage service in a way which is intentionally menacing, harassing or offensive, and using a carriage service to communicate content which is menacing, harassing or offensive."

So, it's not a completely empty threat, and the source and their level of power (positional & financial) is unknown.

@LizZyG So, who threatened you? What does the PM stand for?

@Jolanta it was a Personal Message on messenger from a man, whom I've had no luck tracing. No mutual friends or groups. Seems to have blocked me, immediately after messaging me.

@LizZyG perhaps you should let the police know.

I'm angry too at the Pope's tweets that show support for Pell. Acquittal does not mean innocent. Why would any decent person want to associate with such an institution?
