@powder Methinks that you maybe dreaming a bit here my friend, OUR Governments make and repeal ( break laws imho) all the time and chinese money is very high on their financial agenda these days.
Take for example the vast tracts of Farming and Grazing Lands that are now owned, either wholely or partially by Chinese Consortiums.
This is OUR country, our predecessors settled here and built it up. NOT the Politicians and Political Parties yet we sit back in apathy and let THEM sel out from under our feet.
Even the aboriginal peoples are so apatthetic at times that all they seem interested in is how much compensation ,etc, there is in it for them, it often makes me ashamed to have aboriginal blood and heritage running through my veins when I hear of how other Elders are only interested in the money and not the traditions of lands and the peoples.
